Nickel Division

Basic Carbide’s general offices and nickel carbide manufacturing facility in Lowber, PA, occupy 25,000 square feet of space.

This is the only facility solely dedicated to manufacturing quality nickel carbides. The manufacturing plant employs all state-of-the-art processes and techniques, including CNC machinery, computerized furnaces, and totally enclosed powder processing seal rings (up to 20 inches in diameter). Standard o-rings are available off the shelf for next-day delivery. Automatic pressing is also available to handle large quantities.

MANUFACTURING PLANT

Press Plant Division

403 1st Avenue, Sutersville, PA

Basic Carbide’s state-of-the-art high-volume press plant, located in Sutersville, PA, occupies 12,000 square feet. This facility can quickly and efficiently produce cobalt and nickel parts.

Basic Carbide can compete worldwide by reducing production costs at this plant.

MANUFACTURING PLANT

Cobalt Division

900 Blythedale Road, Buena Vista, PA

Basic Carbide’s cobalt facility in Buena Vista, PA, occupies 35,000 square feet of manufacturing space. The plant includes state-of-the-art equipment and processes, producing a wide variety of preforms with cobalt binder made from the highest-quality powders.

This facility produces some of the largest preforms for our worldwide customers.

Grinding and Machining Plant

Basic Carbide’s Tooling, Wear Parts, and specialty Components facility is located in Latrobe, PA. This cutting-edge 45,000 sq. ft. engineering and manufacturing facility produces world-class quality carbide tooling, wear parts, and specialty components for multiple industries worldwide.
