Nickel Division
103 Bowers Street, Lowber, PA 15660
Basic Carbide’s general offices and nickel carbide manufacturing facility located in Lowber, PA occupies 25,000 square feet of space. This is the only facility that is solely dedicated to manufacturing quality nickel carbides. The manufacturing plant employs all state-of-the-art processes and techniques, including: CNC machinery, computerized furnaces, totally enclosed powder processing seal rings (up to 20 inches in diameter). Standard o-rings are available off the shelf for next day delivery. Automatic pressing is also available to handle large quantities.
Press Plant Division
403 1st Avenue, Sutersville, PA
Basic Carbide’s state-of-the-art high-volume press plant located in Sutersville, PA occupies 12,000 square feet of space. This facility can produce both cobalt and nickel parts quickly and efficiently. Basic Carbide has the ability to compete worldwide by reducing production costs at this plant.
Cobalt Division
900 Blythedale Road, Buena Vista, PA
Basic Carbide’s cobalt facility, located in Buena Vista, PA, occupies 35,000 square feet of manufacturing space. The plant includes state-of-the-art equipment and processes, producing a wide variety of preforms with cobalt binder made from the highest quality powders available. Some of the largest preforms for customers worldwide are produced from this facility.
